Congratulations to our U11 Recreational players for participating in the Spring Wrap-Up Tournament held at Rye Street Park this past weekend. The weather was great and the fun meter was charged as over 400 players and spectators were in attendance.
At the close of the tournament, a hungry crowd was able to enjoy a truck load of pizza made sent to us courtesy of Merwin Mason Supply, SoccerNMoore, and Bella Pizza.
Thanks to the many families for participating and our partners for allowing us to continue this great South Windsor Soccer tradition!
This link will take you to the online ordering system. Besides uniforms it has other items as well for purchase, and we will be adding hats, sweatshirts and more in the near future.
The players will have two options:
1) to pick these up in person in East Hartford at no cost
2) to pay shipping and receive these at their home.
You need to work with the parents to let them know what uniform number they need to put on this online order form. Please remember that it is best not to have any duplicate numbers, not only on your team, but on the other team in your age bracket, e.g. If the A team has a number 23, the B team should not have a 23, as you may need to call up that player to help you or they may make the A team the next season. So please coordinate your rosters among your age brackets.
The prices that are on the site will be good for until July 10th at which time the prices will go up a little, due to added rushed shipping costs, to get these to us for the start of the season.
This is a brand new system for us so please have some patience in case we have a bug or two to work out. If you have any questions, please contact Bob Waldo, Equipment Director, at
The Ray Reid/South Windsor Soccer Camp is a weeklong, three-hour a day instructional soccer program for boys & girls ages 6-13. This camp seeks to develop and improve each player's technique, skills and creativity with the ball. Under the direction of a first-class coaching staff, players will be exposed to dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and small-sided games emphasizing touches on the ball and possession. The training focus for younger players ages 6-8 will be to improve their skills in a fun-filled environment and players ages 9-13 will work on technical refinement and receive an introduction to the tactical side of the game. The South Windsor Young Stars Camp features a strong coach-to-player ratio and a certified trainer will be on duty throughout camp.
The camp will challenge players to keep improving their skills in a fun-filled environment while instilling a passion for the game. All players will receive a Ray Reid Soccer School camp t-shirt, a soccer ball and a Young Stars Certificate.
